Life’s not a bed of roses, situations aren’t always favorable, people aren’t always behaving according to our expectations. We’re surrounded by imperfections. Demanding perfection summons depression!
There are no perfect parents, children, spouses, jobs, relationships, communities or countries. You can not make every single person happy. Perfection is an inexistent concept. In the middle of hundred uncontrollable elements, there’s one element you can certainly control to some extent. We’re going to talk here only about the things we can control. And guess what could that be?
It’s your MIND, which is the source of all your thoughts, perceptions, and interpretations. Emotions are variables that depend on your thought process. You’re free to think as it pleases you! Why not think of any adverse instance from a positive aspect ? 😊
I cannot stress enough, how important it is today, to master your own mind, and not let your emotions overpower you. I believe each one of us by now, already know this. Consider this article as a gentle reminder.
You must be thinking “all this is easier said than done!”. That’s right! It’s definitely not a habit that you can develop overnight. It’s all a matter of regular practice and dedication! If I can do it, you can do it as well. I vouch for the results.
Excuse me for the brief but, a relevant digression. Coming back to “perfection”, please do not seek it anywhere. Not in your home, not in your people, not in the world, not even in yourself! Only God is perfect.
It’s a shadow you can never get hold of. Stop chasing it and you’ll realize you’re just too blessed!
