The Narrow Gate

Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life.

BUT,

Where is the narrow gate?

Which is the road that leads to life?

Is it possible to enter through that gate?
It takes a little effort, a lot of prayer and an abundance of grace to make it possible!

Entering through the narrow gate means,

To take a leap of faith, even when you’re facing the fierce battles of your life, for

He has promised “he will sustain you!

You are much more valuable than the birds in the sky, that do not sow or reap, and yet the father feeds them!

Entering through the narrow gate is,

To trust god when things don’t go your way, for

The lord has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future.

Even though his ways are not our ways!

Entering through the narrow gate is

To have patience in the time of affliction, be persistent in prayer and not losing hope even at the peak of hopelessness, for

Testing of faith produces endurance which shall perfect you!

Entering through the narrow gate is

To pray and forgive the people who have hurt you immensely, for

The lord your God has said unto thee “Forgive, Not seven times but seventy times seven”.

Entering through the narrow gate is,

To not be anxious about the future,

For tomorrow will take care of itself,

For he will meet all your needs,

For he makes all things beautiful in his time,

And does not treat you according to your deeds!

Entering through the narrow gate is,

To rise again and get back to the battlefield when you’re weighed down by the guilt of your sins, for

God’s mercy is new every morning!

And his grace is mightier than your iniquities and failings!

Entering through the narrow gate is,

To glorify god in your body and spirit than to submit to the fiend that’s looking for whom to devour,

Remember,

You are not your own, you have been bought with a price!
